While its launch reception remains to be seen, we walked away more impressed with how emphasized the story was and how in-depth, if somewhat complicated, the combat was. Game Rant recently attended an event, however, where we were able to go hands-on for 90 minutes with Guardians of the Galaxy in a preview. Admittedly, this is the typical standard fare of questions and concerns when a Marvel game is announced. The reception to it thus far has been lukewarm, with some taking issues with the character design, gameplay, and so on. This is a single-player action-adventure game where players take on the role of Star-Lord/Peter Quill, with the ability to issue commands to the likes of Gamora, Groot, Drax, Rocket, and so on instead of playing them. Next month, Marvel fans will be able to get their hands on another Square Enix project: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. ![]()
